Back To School Week Art Contest

Everybody knows art is about contests and prizes, and with that in mind, it’s time for our Back To School Week Art Contest. Use the crayons and paper included in your lunch to draw a spectacular picture and then tweet or Instagram it with the tag #bk2skoolclub. We’ll pick our winners by the end of this week. Be creative, and bonus points if you can make us laugh or cry or think about the human condition in a new way.

Here’s an example of a picture that would receive an F.

Didn’t draw anything. Very uncreative.

First prize is a super sweet Star Wars Lunch Box filled with all of your favorite old school snacks, like Andy Capps, Big League Chew, Cracker Jacks, Airheads, Fun Dip, and of course a packet of Kool-Aid. Draw or draw not, there is no try.

Second prize is a 30th Anniversary DVD of Schoolhouse Rock, so you can get a refresher course on the function of conjunctions. But wait, there’s more (always wanted to say that), you’ll also receive a VHS tape of Multiplication Rock, which can be used to brush up on your math skills, or if you don’t own a VHS player, just as a really cool paper weight.

Turtle shells are kind of like backpacks for turtles.
